Vineyards

Our Vineyard is comprised of six blocks of grapes.   In 2000 the first blocks planted were Pinot Noir (115), Pinot Gris (146), and Chardonnay 95).

In 2005 additional blocks were planted consisting of Pinot Noir (777 & 828)

In April 2006 a block of Pommard was added to the vineyard. All vines are planted on phylloxera resistant root stock. We continue to farm using sustainable practices and organic methods.

Due to large grape losses in 2005 we decided to net the grapes starting in 2006 with great success, and no more use of noise makers to scare the birds.

Vineyard Practices

We use sustainable practices and organic methods whenever possible on our non-irrigated vineyard. The vineyard is tended by family and friends with occasional help and guidance from local vineyard experts.
